Richard’s Laptop
My pal Richard bought a new laptop. He picked it up at low cost from a web-site on the net, and he is quite chuffed about that.
It is a Compaq presario CQ, and he utilises it largely for his university essays.
You have to own a computer these days so that you can do essays, as there aren’t enough in the computer room.
My cousin bought his computer from a retailer in town, and I am certain he could have bought it for much less on line. It is a fantastic laptop, nevertheless: a Sony Vaio VPC. But he didn’t take the time to look at the prices from other retailers before he got hold of it, and that’s why he needed to fork out so much money.
My father adores his laptop. He got it last year to supplant the ancient box computer he had in his study.
He has a Toshiba Satellite C660, and he brings it with him everywhere.
He says it has totally transformed the way he works, because these days he is able to get stuff done on the train, or sometimes down the pub! Certainly changed days compared to when he was young, and he had to utilise a sizeable typewriter.
The computer which my sister purchased is her 4th one in 2 years. She’s always been careless, and she is liable to lose things.
I recall the 1st time she had a mobile, she dropped it down a toilet.
And one of her laptops was simply left on the bus, and has not been spotted since.
I hope she is less careless with her Toshiba Satellite Pro, however I must admit I am guessing that it will not be long until she does some thing idiotic and has to buy another one.
I have been asking for a new laptop for my Christmas. My current laptop is a bit broken now, so when you don’t have it plugged in non-stop it tends to shut down. The one I want is the HP Pavilion g6, because that should be ideal for my needs. It’s quite an pricey item to receive for Xmas, however I reckon my father and uncle will pool money to get it.
