With the medical care company Health Net, he is able to combine his favorite pastime with his community giving efforts through the Health Net Charity Golf Tournament.
Health Net formed the Charity Golf Tour seven years ago, in 2002, following the incident wherein two families lost their sons to the disease primary amoebic meningitis. The illness was traced back to the household water that a private water business was supplying.
Ron Sarabi backs this yearly charity event for the benefit of the PCH, the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. In the past years, the affair has obtained an amount that totaled more than $160,000 for the hospital.
